Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program is held at the library each year beginning in the middle of June and runs until Labor Day. Programs and events are appropriate for all children ages 2-12. Art, drama, music, folktales, books and activities are planned by library staff and sponsored by the foundation. This program offers youth and families an opportunity to become familiar with library services through a lively interactive summer program. The program provides a safe place to read, have fun and build relationships with others while at the same time increasing literacy.
